Birth Doula Services- Birth
Doulas serve the woman and her family during the entire birth process. It's standard to have several prenatal visits to get
comfortable with your doula and talk about what you want out of your birth experience. We, the Birth Doulas in the CNY Doula
Connection, enjoy being with families and supporting them as they welcome their babies into the world.

Childbirth Education-
Many families find it helpful to take childbirth education classes before the birth of their baby. Childbirth classes teach
families about what to expect during labor, comfort measures, information about interventions, newborn care and breastfeeding.

Postpartum Doula Services- Recovering from birth and adjusting
to taking care of your new baby takes time and many moms appreciate the support that a postpartum doula can offer.

Breastfeeding Support- Many women find that breastfeeding is not
something that "comes naturally" at first. Doulas can offer breastfeeding support by educating parents prenatally,
assisting with breastfeeding right after birth, doing postpartum home visits to help with breastfeeding and answering breastfeeding
questions over the phone. Several of our doulas have been or are currently WIC-trained Breastfeeding Counselors and many of
us have nursed children.
