Learn More about the Ladies
You probably already know that all of the members of the Doula
Connection are trained as birth or postpartum doulas (or both). What you may not know is that the ladies in our group participate
regularly in further education.
Another benefit
to using a Doula Connection doula is that you're using someone who meets regularly with other doulas to discuss doula-ing,
birth, breastfeeding, parenting and more. Here, we will share with you some discussion points from Doula Connection meetings.
Sarah Jordan
Sarah is a 48 year old mom of two children. She has 5 grandchildren.
She comes from a very large family and enjoys spending time with them regularly. Sarah also enjoys sewing/crafting,
camping, giving massages, motorcycling and get togethers with her Doula friends. She works outside the home doing bookkeeping.
She became a doula when her sister suggested the idea after Sarah coached her through her first labor and delivery,
seventeen years ago. She offers post partum and birth services.
