TENS Unit Rentals
A TENS unit (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a highly effective and non-invasive tool to help soothe the pain of labor. The unit is small and portable, making it easy for the birthing person to move around freely and control of the timing and intensity of the TENS.
The TENS Unit sends an electronic current on targeted areas (most often the lower back) which helps to override your pain sensation in labor. A great tool to add to your hospital bag!
Please note: TENS units should not be used by women with cardiac problems, or epilepsy. TENS units can not be used in water.
Clients must speak with their care provider first prior to using.

Birth & Peanut Balls
Birth and peanut balls are great comfort tools for pregnancy and labor. These balls encourage a variety of positions which promote your pelvis to open wide, allowing more room for the baby. Benefits of using these tools may include decreased length of labor, shorter pushing time, and less risk of interventions. Versatile, portable and easy-to clean. (Cleaned and sanitized between each client.)

Infant Scale
There may be special circumstances, such as infants born prematurely or with medical problems, that may warrant the need for frequent weight checks. For others, it may give you peace of mind that your baby is taking in adequate milk intake. This scale accurately determines how much a baby has taken at a given feeding. You simply weigh the baby before and after a feeding, and the scale calculates the intake.
Non professional infant scales cannot offer this level of accuracy. Renting makes this an affordable option to track your baby's weight.
