Prenatal yoga classes are a great way to learn techniques to support a healthy pregnancy by helping to alleviate pregnancy-related discomforts and prepare you for childbirth by practicing gentle, modified yoga poses and breathing exercises.

ErinErin Sawyer became a certified 200hr yoga teacher in February 2019 from Boston Yoga School under the direction of Ame Wren and Tiffany Cagwin. Before her training she was practicing as a certified DTI doula, certified in August 2018. She recognized the need for prenatal yoga as a way to calm and strengthen the body and mind in preparation for childbirth. She incorporates her doula knowledge into her classes to provide a well-rounded and informative class where students feel supported and welcomed in whatever stage of pregnancy they may be in.
Erin spent 7 months living in Thailand teaching pre-school and children’s yoga, returning home to Syracuse when the pandemic hit. She loves traveling, animals, and learning new things. She can’t wait to meet you on the mat! Class details:

RebeccaRebecca Alexander Carey is a 200-Hour E-RYT and physical therapist who believes that wellness begins from the inside out. You must begin with healing yourself to heal those around you, and then even further reach out to your community.
Rebecca’s classes blend yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness- based on the premise that yoga should feel good. Though she has additional yoga training in Kripalu vinyasa flow, yoga for the pelvic floor, and yoga nidra, Rebecca first trained at Kripalu in Stockbridge, MA in 2014. Class details:

TheresaTheresa Church is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher with additional certification in prenatal yoga. She is also a certified prenatal and postpartum doula through DoulaTrainings International. Her calm, compassionate and deliberate style of teaching fosters presence, integrity and strength for all levels of practitioners. Her interest in yoga goes beyond the physical poses and it's her never-ending curiosity that inspires her to share this practice with others.
Theresa is also a women's circle facilitator and incorporates elements of ritual and connection in her prenatal yoga classes. Along with mediation and a number of consistent asanas known to assist in labor and delivery, each class provides a safe container to connect with your growing baby, and other pregnant people in the community.
